Terms and Conditions for Chemical engineering placement plus industrial experience

Applicability

All services by Chemical Engineering Placement Plus are made subject to these Terms and Conditions of Service and are expressly conditioned upon the trainee’s assent thereto. Chemical Engineering Placement Plus will not be bound by any variations from or additions to these terms and conditions of service contained in any other document submitted by the trainee. No variation from these Terms and Conditions of Service shall be binding upon Chemical Engineering Placement Plus unless agreed to in writing by an authorized representative ofChemical Engineering Placement Plus.

Placement

No contract of the placement of a trainee shall be binding on Chemical Engineering Placement Plus unless and until accepted and signed by an authorized person from Chemical Engineering Placement Plus. Chemical Engineering Placement Plus reserves the right to reject any candidate for any reason.Once the resume has been submitted to Chemical Engineering Placement Plus, an expression of interest may be withdrawn within 7 days if the trainee is no longer willing to be considered for the chemical engineering or any other relevant internships/placements. If the candidate is willing to be considered for a different period other than the period of submission, a representative from Chemical Engineering Placement Plus should be informed within 7 days of submission.
Upon agreement on placement of the trainee by Chemical Engineering Plus for a suitable project in a respected company, the candidate’s willingness to accept the offer is to be informed within a week (7 days) excluding the day of receival of the internship offer. Failure upon informing the acceptance in the given time frame will be considered as candidate not interested in the role offered and the agreement will be nullified, unless a valid reason with proof for the reason of failure to accept the offer is sent, viewed and accepted by a representative of by Chemical Engineering Plus.
Upon acceptance of the offer by the candidate within the allocated period, an appointment letter will be sent out with a fixed time to meet a representative of Chemical Engineering Placement Plus. If the timing appointed is inconvenient for any reason, Chemical Engineering Placement Plus must be informed 48 hours prior to the appointment timings to reschedule the meeting. Failure to do so and failure of the candidate to present themselves at the appointed date, time and place will nullify the offer given to the candidate and their acceptance to the offer will be disregarded, except under unforeseen circumstances faced by the candidate which should be informed with proof, viewed and accepted by a representative of Chemical Engineering Placement Plus.
The placement duration for each candidate is three months, unless otherwise stated. Extensions can be requested by the candidate upon failure to finish the project within the allocated time due to any circumstances. The extension will be approved by an authorized representative of Chemical Engineering Placement Plus after a review. Upon approval of the extension, additional payment needs to be made to continue to receive further training from Chemical Engineering Placement Plus.

Terms of payment

Candidates who are successful for the interviews will be informed of the amount that needs to be paid for the placement process after the interview has been conducted. Upon agreement on the amount quoted for the candidate, a deposit of 25% of the total amount needs to be made within 7 days of agreement. Failure to do so will result in nullifying of the offer from Chemical Engineering Placement Plus. The deposit is non-refundable upon failure of commencing the placement due to any circumstances. The remaining of the total amount is expected be paid prior to the commencement date. However, the duration for the remaining of the total amount is to be paid off is within 7 days of commencement.The amount paid covers the training of the candidate byrespective companies that they have been placed in, all the equipment being used for their allocated projects and any level of guidance provided throughout the duration of the project to produce high quality results and be industry ready.
